ABOUT Camp Pālehua
Camp Pālehua is more than a place in the mountains — it is a sanctuary of refuge, healing, and learning. For keiki, ʻohana, and the wider community, the camp provides a space to rest, to reconnect, and to discover the meaning of ʻāina — that which feeds and sustains.
Our programs weave together education, conservation, and art. Through guided hikes, service projects, and hands-on experiences, participants gain a deeper understanding of native ecosystems and the responsibility of stewardship. Art, music, and cultural practices offer creative pathways for reflection, expression, and connection, transforming conservation into lived practice and shared story.
At its heart, Camp Pālehua is about waiwai — true wealth. Not wealth in material possessions, but in knowledge, relationships, and the health of ʻāina. Here, abundance is found in learning together, protecting what sustains us, and celebrating culture and community.
